Ashley Rodriguez is a multimedia journalist from Staten Island with a passion for business reporting and all things digital. She is a graduate student at the CUNY School of Journalism and holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Pace University. Rodriguez writes for Ad Age and has been published in local publications including Brooklyn Today, Borough Buzz and the Bensonhurst Bean. She also worked as a social media editor in the non-profit sector, and has a background in bookkeeping and administration. Rodriguez is currently working towards a career in business and interactive journalism. She also has a fondness for alternative press, a subject she explored in her undergraduate thesis. In her spare time, Rodriguez enjoys the morning paper, a good cup of coffee, traveling, and Netflix.
